01Who we are
Lazy Marketing, LLC (“Lazy Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a marketing and digital agency based in Greenville, South Carolina.
This Privacy Policy applies to lazymarketing.agency, staylazy.co, our client portal, and other websites or services we operate that link to this policy. It also covers information we receive when you contact us, book a call, or engage us for services.
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@lazymarketing.agency.
02Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
| Category | Information |
|---|---|
| Enquiries | Your name, business name, contact details, service interests, and information you include in a form or message. |
| Bookings | Your name, business, email address, selected appointment time, meeting preference, and booking notes. |
| Client accounts | Account details, business information, project files, messages, approvals, and activity within our portal. |
| Service access | Account permissions, credentials, and other information you provide so we can perform the agreed work. |
| Billing | Invoice details, billing contact information, payment amounts, payment status, and limited payment-method information supplied by our payment processor. |
| Website activity | IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages or campaigns, approximate location, and interactions collected through cookies or similar technologies. |
Stripe processes card payments. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the agreed services and we have arranged an appropriate way to receive it.
03How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes or proposals.
- Schedule calls and send booking confirmations.
- Deliver services and manage projects, approvals, and client accounts.
- Issue invoices, process payments, and maintain business records.
- Send service messages, project updates, and account notifications.
- Protect our websites, accounts, and systems against misuse.
- Understand website performance and measure our advertising.
- Send marketing communications where permitted, subject to your choices.
- Meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell contact lists or client records for money. Advertising-related disclosures are described in Section 5.
04Forms, bookings, and client accounts
When you submit a form, we receive the information you provide and make it available to team members who handle your enquiry.
Our contact form temporarily saves unfinished answers in your browser’s session storage so that a reload or an accidental close does not lose your progress. The saved answers are deleted as soon as the form is sent, and your browser clears them automatically when you close the tab.
Bookings are added to our scheduling calendar, and we use your contact details to send confirmations and relevant meeting updates. After you book, your booking reference is kept in session storage only long enough to show your confirmation page.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated submissions. It processes technical information about your browser and interaction to assess whether a request is legitimate.
If you use our client portal, we process your account information, uploaded files, messages, approvals, and relevant activity to operate the portal and manage your engagement.
05Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our websites may use cookies, session storage, and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, analytics, and advertising measurement.
Essential technologies support functions such as account sessions, form progress, and fraud prevention. Optional analytics and advertising technologies help us understand site activity and assess campaign performance.
Where enabled, we use:
- Meta Pixel: To measure visits and actions, such as enquiries, bookings, or payment-related interactions, and support advertising audience selection.
- Google Analytics 4: To understand website usage, traffic sources, and visitor interactions.
These tools may disclose browser information, identifiers, page visits, and interaction data to Google or Meta. Those companies may process information under their own privacy policies. Depending on applicable law and the configuration used, advertising disclosures may qualify as “sharing” or processing for targeted advertising.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie preference controls provided on our website. Blocking certain technologies may affect website features.
Our website does not currently display a cookie banner or preference panel. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, our website does not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel during your visit.
Our Cookie Policy provides additional details about the technologies in use and available controls.
06Who receives information
We disclose information as needed to operate our business and provide services.
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website and portal infrastructure, record and file storage, security, and bot protection. |
| Stripe | Payment processing, invoices, deposits, and payment plans. |
| Booking calendars and, where enabled, website analytics. | |
| Meta | Advertising measurement and audience tools where enabled. |
| Resend | Booking confirmations, account notifications, and other service emails. |
We also provide relevant information to authorized team members, contractors, and professional advisers who need it for their work.
Some providers process information on our behalf; others, including payment and advertising platforms, may also process information for their own purposes under their privacy policies.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal requirements, protect rights or security, or respond to lawful requests.
If our business is involved in a sale, merger, or restructuring, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy requirements.
07Information handled for our clients
When we manage a client’s leads, customer records, review requests, messages, or other customer-facing systems, we generally process that information on the client’s instructions.
The client determines the purposes of that processing and is responsible for its customer privacy notices and permissions. We use the information to provide the agreed services, subject to our agreement and applicable law.
If your information was collected by one of our clients, contact that business first to exercise your privacy rights. We will assist the client with relevant requests as required by our agreement and applicable law.
08How long we retain information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including recordkeeping, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.
Our intended retention schedule is:
| Information | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not become engagements | Up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. |
| Contracts, invoices, and essential business records | For the engagement and up to seven years afterward. |
| Project files, messages, and approvals | For the engagement and any agreed support or retention period. |
| Credentials and service access | Removed or revoked when no longer needed, including at the end of an engagement unless continuing access is agreed. |
| Analytics data | According to the configured retention settings of the applicable tool. |
| Marketing suppression records | As needed to respect unsubscribe and opt-out requests. |
We may retain information longer where necessary for a legal obligation or an active dispute. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until those backups expire under our normal backup cycle.
09Your choices and privacy rights
You can contact hello@lazymarketing.agency to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may also have rights to obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising or certain disclosures. Some laws also provide a right to appeal a denied request or complain to a privacy regulator.
We may need to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where no specific deadline applies, we aim to respond within 30 days.
Requests are generally free. If a legally permitted exception applies, we will explain it before charging a fee or declining a request.
We may retain information required for legal obligations, security, recordkeeping, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
To stop promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link or contact us. You may still receive necessary account, billing, or project communications.
10Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access restrictions and security measures appropriate to the systems involved.
No system or transmission method is completely secure. If a security incident triggers a legal notification obligation, we will notify affected individuals or authorities as required.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
11International processing
We operate in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Privacy protections may differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use the required transfer arrangements.
12Children’s privacy
Our websites and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact hello@lazymarketing.agency so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
13Other websites
Our websites may link to third-party websites, platforms, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Review those policies before providing information to them.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
For material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required. Where a new use of previously collected information requires consent, we will obtain that consent before proceeding.
